Pakistan’s military strikes on Afghan border provinces have killed 13 civilians, including 11 children, a woman, and an elderly man. The Taliban spokesperson alleges Islamabad violated Afghan airspace. Pakistan accuses the Taliban of sheltering armed groups, while Afghanistan blames Pakistan for „unforgivable war crimes.“ Despite a late-March truce, low-intensity clashes continue. A UN report shows 372 Afghan civilians died in the first three months of this year, with 397 wounded. Pakistan attributes strained relations with Kabul to Afghanistan’s growing ties with India. This tragic incident further exacerbates the already tense situation in the region.
